Depending on the conditions\, this paddle will range between a 3 to five-mile paddle. \nParking\nWill will be parking in the main lot at the Perice Island Boat Ramp area. \nSafety Equipment\nAll paddlers must wear proper safety equipment\, including a personal flotation device (PFD) and a leash. \nCheck the Weather Before Leaving Home\nAll SPC paddles are weather-dependent. Before leaving your house\, we encourage you to check the homepage of our website or our Facebook page to make sure the event didn’t get canceled. \nDress for the Conditions\nWhether you prefer to wear a wetsuit or a dry suit\, please make sure you have the appropriate gear for cold water paddling and that you dress accordingly. \nPack A Post-Paddle Kit\nBring along extra warm clothes you can change into after your paddleboard session. It’s a good idea to keep a towel\, warm sweater\, pants\, and a jacket in your car\, so you’ve got something warm and dry when you get in from the water. Packing a thermos of something warm to eat or drink after your paddleboard session is also a good trick to help keep you warm and refueled after spending time on the water.
