Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or joining us for the first time\, this is a great opportunity to give back\, meet like-minded community members\, and make a tangible impact. \nAfter the cleanup\, we’ll transition straight into a group paddle (weather permitting). It’s the perfect way to enjoy the ocean\, connect with fellow paddlers\, and celebrate the work we’ve done to keep our beaches clean. \nCome for the cause\, stay for the paddle—and start your day with purpose by the sea. \n\nAbout Our Cleanups \nTo help protect the places we love\, the Seacoast Paddleboard Club (SPC) adopted Pirate’s Cove Beach in Rye\, New Hampshire through Blue Ocean Society’s Adopt-a-Beach program back in 2017. \nSince then\, SPC has hosted a monthly community cleanup on the last Sunday of every month\, bringing together volunteers who are passionate about keeping our coastline clean. \nWe’ll meet at the entrance to Pirate’s Cove Beach for a quick introduction on marine debris and why collecting this data matters. From there\, we’ll spread out and get to work. Most cleanups run between 1 to 1.5 hours. \nIt’s a simple\, impactful way to give back\, get outside\, and connect with others who care about the ocean.
